DESCRIPTION:This event is part of our Networking Event Series powered by Innosiusse. \nAre you interested in seeing urban farming in practice right in the heart of the city of Zurich? And on top of that enjoy an Apéro Riche with a group of sustainability enthusiasts from the GreenBuzz network? \nUMAMI produce healthy\, pure\, natural microgreens\, herbs\, mussels and sauces in symbiosis with nature. They are widely available in supermarkets and restaurants across Switzerland.  We are delighted to partner with Umami and visit their farm. We will experience what it takes to grow food in a natural system\, without pesticides or fertilizers\, working with nature and not against it. \nGreenBuzz will be learning by seeing and experiencing. You will get the chance to meet other changemakers and celebrate what can be done and what we can do to be part of a more climate friendly\, socially responsible and healthy food system. \nWe will learn… \n\nwhat it takes to do urban farming at scale\,\nwhat the factors for success are that make Umami one of the most celebrated food startups in Zurich\,\nwhat the potential for climate-friendly farming is.\n\nFinally\, do you want to know what the name Umami means? It is the Japanese word for  “essence of deliciousness”. \n– \nSeid ihr daran interessiert mitten in Zürich urbane Landwirtschaft in der Praxis zu erleben? Und wollt ihr obendrein einen Apéro Riche mit einer Gruppe von Nachhaltigkeits-Enthusiast*innen aus dem GreenBuzz Netzwerk geniessen? \nUMAMI produziert in Symbiose mit der Natur gesunde\, reine und natürliche Keimpflanzen (Microgreens)\, Kräuter\, Muscheln und Saucen. Ihre Produkte sind in Supermärkten und Restaurants in der ganzen Schweiz erhältlich. \nWir freuen uns\, mit Umami zusammenzukommen und ihren Betrieb besuchen zu dürfen. Wir werden erfahren\, was es bedeutet\, Lebensmittel in einem natürlichen System anzubauen\, ganz ohne Pestizide oder Düngemittel –  mit der Natur und nicht gegen sie – zu arbeiten. \nIhr werdet die Chance haben andere Changemaker zu treffen und zu erfahren\, was getan werden kann und was jede*r Einzelne*r tun kann\, um Teil eines klimafreundlichen\, sozial verantwortlichen und gesunden Lebensmittelsystems zu sein. \nWir werden lernen… \n\nwas es braucht\, um urbane Landwirtschaft in grossem Massstab zu betreiben\nwas die Erfolgsfaktoren sind\, die Umami zu einem der bekanntesten Food-Startups in Zürich machen\nwas das Potenzial für eine klimafreundliche Landwirtschaft ist.\n\nZu guter Letzt: Wisst ihr\, was der Name Umami bedeutet?
